Kirsty & Thumper
"Hi, my name is Kirsty, and I have a mild form of cerebral palsy. I am extremely excited about having my wonderful dog Thumper. Next to having my wheel chair, Thumper is the most exciting thing in my life. Thumper will allow me to have the freedom I need to do wonderful and independent things.
"Thumper has been truly fabulous in our lives. It is hard to express the feeling for a new member to our household. He has had a huge impact on how I will be able to interact with the world around me. I have already shown independence with the abilities that I have learned with Thumper. Thumper has become an integral part of our family.
"Thumper in essence is a god-send for our family and we would like to thank all of those involved with his care before he arrived in our household. We look forward to learning new things with him and progressing forward, and most of all the independence that it will bring in my life.
