Making the choice to form a canine-human service partnership is a big task! But with this bond comes a great deal of love and joyful moments as well. In order to make sure that you are fully aware of your responsibilities as a service dog owner, and to understand the certification process, please read our Application Information Page.

Volunteer Application

Gateway to Canine Partnerships is dedicated to assisting physically challenged individuals in gaining greater independence through the use of a trained assistance dog and to provide that service without adding an excessive financial burden to the individuals and their families. Volunteers are needed at all levels of GCP’s activities.

Foster Family Application

Being a foster family for service dogs is a very rewarding task to both the dogs and the people who are desperately in need of them. Foster families give loving care and attention to these dogs, and because of their importance, foster families are invaluable to us.
